Any AI fans out there? Even my husband watches it. It simply draws you in. It is now down to the Top 5. Personally, the only person who might put out a CD I would buy would be Kris Allen. However, Adam Lambert clearly has the best vocal ability...sometimes a little manic, but impressive. Danny, is that loveable guy with a great raspy voice. I could see him putting out a contemporary christian album and doing very well. Matt is that JT wannabe, but he is good if you listen to that type of music. The chic has great vocals and she reminds me of a cross between KC and Stefani. So, that narrows it down to who? Who will stay or who will go? My vote would be Matt. Sorry.

Country Music Half Marathon = Hot, Hilly, Still Hacking
First, I will say I did survive the 13.1 miles, but it was not a race I am really proud of. 1 week and 1 day before the big run, I came down with one of the worst bugs I've ever had and ended up in the ER. It STILL has not left my system. I am now with no voice at all and coughing like crazy. So, there are my excuses. Regardless, Janice, Kade and myself headed up to Birmingham then Nashville this weekend for the run. Thank you to Janice for her patience with my coughing, whispering and screaming baby for some of the time. Thank you to YaYa (Laura) for coming with us and watching baby kade during the race. Next year, it's on for all of us! So, the race was huge...like 30,000 people. It really is an amazing experience. I just hate that I was not feeling up to it. My body is just beat. The hills were crazy and so opposite from Pensacola and it was like 85 degrees or something crazy. People were dropping like flies. The first 8 miles I felt great and was having a blast and then something came over me and I started getting light headed and not feeling so great. I did not want to push myself too far so I started walking some around mile 9 and then just walked/ran the rest of it. I did run the last mile, so I could say I Finished Strong. There's no way I would walk across that finish after all the training. So, I was disappointed in all the elements, but I know I did the best I could. I am proud that I even attempted it. It was not looking good a week before. So, anyone that wants to join next year, let's go. It is very motivating with the bands and so many people running for a loved one that fought cancer or a cancer survivor. I cried like 5 times throughout the course. "Run with endurance the race that God has set before you"...Who's in for next year?
Since, no one has yet to get the last MQ..here's another from the same movie...
"like I could tip a cow by myself!"

Happy Birthday, Lindsay!
Here's some pics of Lindsay's birthday dinner tonight. I also took a cute pic of Kade this morning and then made Kev take us both. The other is when Kade was introduced to the water hose...man, he loved it! The little things in life are so sweet. Love my sweet pea!
MQ for the day... "well, a plantation by any other name is just a farm, but it does roll off the tongue a little sweeter now don't it?"

Mary Patton Has Arrived!!!
Congratulations to Laura & Mikey. Mary Patton was born 8lbs 10oz, 21 inches this evening. Laura pushed a while, bless her heart. All worth it! She's perfect. I'll post a pic when she sends and approves one. I wish I was there so bad! It's so hard when your very best friends are spread cross country. Kade can not wait to meet his princess. This is an arranged marriage for sure!

...and a Quote?
I have decided to add a little fun for all in my blogging. I will now end all the posts with a movie quote! How fun is that? 90% will probably be Chick Flicks or 80s-90s classics so get the Patriot, Matrix garb out of your head. Let's begin. We'll start easy. Guess away!
"I've got news, you're gonna lose"

Bring On Baby Mary Patton!
My best friend, Laura, went to the hospital to be induced this morning. They already broke her water. Come on Mary Patton! I'll keep you posted.

Our Little Joe
Room for Improvement
So, I've decided I have much room for improvement at blogging. I am going to make more of an effort to keep it up to date. If for nothing else, it will be like my own little diary...just shared with the viewers. When I need to jog a memory, I can visit the blog, when I am sad and need to see kade's sweet face, I can visit the blog, when I need to remember the chronological order of something...I can visit the blog. It's sort of a spring resolution. We shall see.
I have been really really sick over the past week. Not that anyone cares, but you know you just have to tell people when you have been sick. Something about sharing it with the world makes the pain or the nausea somehow diminish...well, not really. But, we all know we feel better. Friday, I took a little trip to the ER and then the drugs they put me on...sent me on another trip. hehehe. I sort of sounded like an addict just then so I will shift gears. What I am trying to get to is that this bug that has chosen to take over my body, has really put a damper on my training schedule. I mean, the half marathon is this Saturday! I had to miss my last long run and a few short runs. However, I attempted to run this evening..hoping I could get a couple and 5 miles later!!! Oh yeah...Nashville, here I come. Say a little prayer on Saturday.
Kade was sick before me...poor kid had it on Easter morning. We didn't get to make our Easter cake on Easter, so we made it on Tuesday. Here's a pic of the affair. He loves white cake like mommy. Delish!
And, Here's some Easter pics along with Little Claire and Emma who came to town for vacation.

Blog versus Facebook??
We spent the day at The Robinson Home on Ono. Love his diaper cover!

I got a Townie! I took Maddy for a ride when she came for a visit.
Obsessed with the vacuum!

Madeline's updo from Gallery Night. Such a diva!
Kade and his favorite person in the world!
What's a mom to do? I am getting a little anxious at trying to figure out if I should post a blog or just add pics to facebook. I mean, does anybody read this thing? I find it hard to believe sometimes that people care what I have to say. However, I have the most stunning fella in the world and I know you love to see his smiling face. We shall see what happens.
Well, I am training for the Country Music Half Marathon April 25th. Week runs seems to be harder than my long weekend runs. After a day of work and trying to play with my little man, I am just too tired sometimes. Overall, it's going well and I look forward to crossing that finish line. My cousin, Laura, is planning on going to hang with the kadester while I sweat to the music. Hip hip hooray. Stay tuned!
