My Anniversary!

"How sweet it is to be loved by you!"

Kevin and I walked down the aisle 7 years ago today. It seems like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time. So much has happened. We have grown so much closer. The road is not always easy, but we have a foundation that will not crumble. God has blessed us so much. Now, we have a precious child to share this life with, and I don't think I could ask for more than my family. Thank you, Kevin, for marrying me.

Thank You to our Armed Forces

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Today is a day we are supposed to reflect on those individuals that have served or may be serving our country now. Most important, we are to remember those that have lost their life so that we may have our freedoms and protection in this amazing country. I just want to thank all of you that have served. These people are willing to lay down their life for others and our Father said this is the greatest love. I hope they realize every day how much we appreciate them. I can think of some of my favorite things to do, and none of them could be done if it were not for men and women that gave their life for our freedome here. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

Mother's Day Pics & A Quote!

Kade gave me a beautiful, new smell-good Scofield bible for Mother's Day! I was so excited. I've been using FCA bibles for quite some time now, but I wanted my own big ole book of love and my little boo got me one. Then, I gave him his first official lesson. I had to beat it into him a little, but I think I got the point across. Love your momma or else. Thanks, K...you are my favorite. :)

Here's one of my favs!
MQ: "it is easier to get killed by a terrorist than to get married over the age of 40. "That's no true." "But it feels true." "It feels true, because it is true"

Mother's Day

I haven't blogged since Mother's Day. I am currently at my mom's house, so I can't post the pictures I took. I have put some on facebook already. I just wanted to put this fun collage of my wonderful mother up. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am for my mother and Kevin's mother. We are blessed. And, this journey of motherhood is so incredible. I never want to take a moment of this for granted. Kade gave me a beautiful new bible. I have already enjoyed reading the beautiful scripture our heavenly father gave to us to carry us through this life. I am so thankful he allows me to have a record of what He has done, what He will and can do and who He is. Thank you, Lord, for my precious son and all that you have given me. Thank you for, first, giving me such a Godly mother to show me who you are!

Sew, Stitch, Seam, Go

This evening marks a day in history. I have begun to learn how to make clothes for my baby! Whoohooo. The fabulous Mary Lou has women over every Monday evening to learn how to sew or (if you already know how) just to sew together. It's so fun! I have started on a reversible bubble for my baby. And...she has a monogram machine, so get ready Special K. Momma's ideas will end up on your skeleton. Smooch.

Come on people with this movie quote. This MQ is one of the greatest chic flicks of all time. Here's MQ #3. Do you not like my game? I can just give you the script until you get this one.

"I know exactly who I am sweetheart. I'm a guy that came a long way for lunch"

another..

"if you haven't noticed, I am throwing myself at you!"

Kade or Kate?

Kade put this on his head while I had walked out of the bathroom for a second. I don't even wear headbands...he's very genius. Stay away from H1N1...eat less pickled pig ears.

No one got the last movie quote and it's so classic. Here's another from the same movie...

"Finger painting?"
