Mrs. Bailey and nemo the handpuppet. Kade was diggin' it.
Precious tiger bib and burp cloth Brandi sent him. She pays a visit this June. Can't wait!
First trip to Walmart. Monumental. I'm sure it won't be the last. We had to get the tires fixed on momma's car. The lady thought I was crazy getting our picture.

IT'S A BOY!!!
Chad and Lindsay had their 4th, yes 4th, baby first thing today a little after 12am. Luke Russell Gilliland was born 5lbs13oz and 18 inches. Kade is HUGE compared to him. I'll post pics after I take some today. He is the tiniest little thing. Lindsay did great. She was more worried with this one because she actually had somewhat of a normal L&D. She usually goes really quick. However, it did only take her less than 10 minutes once she pushed. It's crazy how her body works. Well, Kade is no longer the little baby. Chad is always trying to one up his sister. Just kidding. I am so excited because Luke and Kade will probably be the best of friends. How sweet is that!

Kade's sleepy night and Velma Jean
Kade slept 10 hours last night! I couldn't believe. I even slept close to 8 with the other 2 hours being me making sure he was still breathing. He woke up so happy and ate and fell back to sleep in his swing. Of course, I will be going back to work in 2 1/2 weeks and I can't even talk about it. It makes me nauseated. I've already cried so many times. I just thought I would be in a different place with everything. Say a little prayer whenever you think of me. I will need all the prayers I can get. I need to call Velma Jean and tell her to put me on the prayer chain with her ladies. Speaking of Velma Jean, my wonderful grandmother and the world's greatest in case you don't know her...she turns 80 May 8th. She looks at least 20 years younger and she acts even younger than me at times. I am thinking we will be making our first birmingham trip for that wonderful occasion. For any of you that's life she has touched whether it be cookies she has made or a card she has sent or just a hilarous phone call with no goodbye at the end, tell her you love her May 8th. I am giving you some warning.

Kade's Baby Dedication
Our baby did beautifully during both services. I got to sing a solo during the first service which was very special for me. We dedicated Kade to the Lord this Sunday. I am so very blessed with this wonder we have been given. It is truly amazing how much love I have for him and my wonderful husband. We are truly a family now, and it is beautiful. It is our prayer that we raise Kade with a strong foundation through a relationship with Him.
The Gilliland side of the family. I will post a Rollins family photo when I get one.
I bought a bonnet for the dedication, but I didn't want him to wear it during the service. I'm just too proud of his hair. :)

Heading to eat with the Rollins Boys and Great Grands
These are a few pictures of this unbelievable book my mother made for Kade. It includes many gift certificates and sweet letters from her all throughout. I have the most wonderful mother in the world. We are blessed! Hopefully, you can just get an idea....these are just a few pages. She's something else.

Lily and Kade chillin' at Granna's house
Kevin and I had our first date since Kade arrived. Granna watched him but we wanted him in the picture before we left. We went like a mile down the road and were only gone about an hour. I was tempted to call during that brief time. I swore I would "never be that mother" that calls all the time, but I have such anxiety just leaving the room he's in right now. Hopefully, that will go away very soon, since I will be heading back to work.
Sunshine!
Here are some photos taken by Arielle Langhorne with Arielle Langhorne Photography two weeks after Kade was born. I have a link to her website. She is amazing. She took my maternity photos as well. Here are just a few I got out of the 100 photos. I will post a few more as well. I know, I know...he is the most beautiful newborn. :)
