Luke's Dedication and "There's Something About Kade"
Cousin Luke was dedicated July 20th. He did great during the first service and pitched a fit the second one. It was cute. He finally started talking. I guess that means he is meant for the stage.
The next few pics are after a bath. I had fun with Kade's hair. I forgot to flip the pic...just turn your noggin'.

My Best Friends begin their visits!
Brandi and Chad made a visit to see Kade this past weekend. Here are a few photos. Then, Darcy, Jeremy, Claire and now "Emma" made a visit on Sunday and had dinner with us. So fun! Here are some pics.
We're Back!
These pictures at the park are beautiful. Thanks to Joel for his talent and patience. Kade had a good time. I love the one where he is talking.

Cousins. Nothing like them. Laura and Ally at the park.
They love each other.
Best photo ever! Well, both of these are fantastic.
Well, it has been a while. A lot has happened. Kevin, me, Brett and Amanda had birthdays. I can't believe I am officially "in my 30s". Crazy. I mean, 30 was one thing but now I am actually older. However, life couldn't be better. Kade and I and Leslie took a work trip to birmingham and got to hang out with mamaw and papaw and see some cousins. Madeline and Kade had a wonderful time at the park one late afternoon and it was so pretty... thanks to Joel for some beautiful photography.

Happy Father's Day, Kevin!
Well, Kevin had a wonderful first father's day. Kade and mommy really treated him well on this special day. You can see the fabulous tie that he proudly wore on Sunday (thanks to Allison for the idea). It was quite a hit at church. He was also sent on an "all fathers" half day deep fishing trip and they had a blast. We sent him off at 4:30am on Saturday with a super packed cooler (see picture). He got lots of fish and they had a cookout that night. Kade also gave him an engraved swiss army tool for fishing that said "DAD 2008". He got some auburn coasters for his truck, a dry fit shirt (which is a fav) and some great flip flops. Flops are all he ever wears if you know Kevin. So, he had a wonderful time. Most important, he received a gift of a lifetime on February 14th that he and I both will love forever...Kade. We had no idea the love that you can have for someone and so pure. He is enjoying precious time with him this summer. We are a family. Yeah.

An Auburn Passy and Some Wild Hair
Well, Kade took a passy twice today for at least 20 minutes each. This is huge! I am thinking maybe he will be okay with a bottle soon. It's not imperative that he take a bottle but it would sure help daddy out when he's keeping him and the belly is empty. Mom want keep getting phone calls so frequently to come home. :) Here's a picture I took of him the first time he took it. I mean, I might have put a dab of Sunkist on it, but does it really matter? There are also some photos after a bath. He does this thing where he freaks out when I am drying him off now. He LOVES bathtime, but then when I go to dry him off, he screams until I nurse him and then he passes out. Will we ever figure these babies out? Anyway, his hair dried before I could put a comb to it. I think I dig it. There's also a pic of us before a little exercise. Then, a couple of him in Sunday's best. Kevin forbid me to leave the hat on him, but I managed to sneak a few photos. He looks a little amish but still adorable. Thanks to Vikki Pritchett for the cute outfit. I love it.
